To provide a movable desk constituted such that a top plate can be turn between a horizontal service position and a substantially vertical storing position, and having casters on the lower side thereof, in which the top plate can be surely secured to a floor surface when the top plate is in the service position and the top plate can be easily turned.

A synchronizing rod 76 is located at a lowermost position in a pier stud 6, a stopper 84 touches the floor surface via stopper rod 82 inserted into the hollow part of a hollow shaft member 20, and a caster body 22 is spaced from the floor surface when the top plate 2 is in the horizontal service position. A cum 72 is rotated in a counterclockwise direction together with the top plate, the synchronizing rod 76 moves from the lowermost position to the uppermost position in the leg post 6, and the stopper rod 82 inserted into the hollow part of the hollow shaft member 20 slides in the hollow part and moves vertically upward, when pushing up the top plate 2 into the substantially vertical storing position from such a state.
