Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair with a movable armrest capable of setting a free link mechanism without taking into consideration nipping of a finger.
SOLUTION: When movably installing an armrest 3 to a pedestal 10 set in a chair body 1 via a link mechanism 2, the crossing angle is changed according to a movement of the armrest 3 while trasiently making an internal corner part α of a degree of nipping a finger in a state of crossing a second link element 5 for constituting the link mechanism 2 with the outside edge 10x of the pedestal 10 in a plan view, and vertical directional clearance Δ is formed in a crossing part of the link element 5 and the pedestal 10 on the other end side more than a superposing part of this link element 5 on the pedestal 10.
