Title:
MOVABLE LENS DEVICE FOR OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM DISC REPRODUCER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5480708
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the following characteristics of a servo-system by attaching a coil assembly to the lens in an optical path between a light source and an optical information recording medium disc so that the driving operations for both the tracking control and the jitter compensation may be effected with the use of one movable lens.

CONSTITUTION: Moving coils MC1 and MC2, in which coils 9 and 10 are wound on coil bobbines 7 and 8, are fixed to the other end of an arm 2 which connects a lens assembly 1 to an elastic support 3. In accordance with the polarity and amplitude of the current to be fed to the coils 9 and 10, the lens 1 is driven and displaced a disired extent in the direction of the extension of the recording locus or in the direction perpendicular to the former. As a result, if the coils 9 and 10 are supplied with the signals for compensating the errors in the time axis or the errors in the tracking control, a reproducing stylus can be driven and displaced two- dimentionally so that the compensation of the errors in the time axis and the tracking control can be accomplished simultaneously.
