Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MM type pickup cartridge capable of obtaining a large output signal and obtaining a faithful reproduction sound with less distortion.SOLUTION: An MM type pickup cartridge includes: a cantilever 12; a stylus tip 13 attached to a front end portion of the cantilever in a longitudinal direction; a damper 14 disposed at the base end portion in the longitudinal direction of the cantilever 12 to support the cantilever so as to be able to swing; a magnet 18 which is disposed along the longitudinal direction of the cantilever on the front end portion of the cantilever 12 directly above the stylus tip 13 and vibrates in response to the vibration of the stylus tip 13; and a yoke 5 in which the magnetic poles 5a and 5b of the two leg portions are arranged to face the magnet 18, and which is formed in a U-shape to have the power generation coil 7 wound therearound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
