To provide a movable platform fence improving a work efficiency in inspection without the need for pulling out a head of a fixing screw when an upper lid for inspecting the platform fence is closed.

The movable platform fence is provided with: the fence 1 erected on a platform floor; the upper lid 2 for opening/closing an upper part of the fence turnably provided on an upper end of the fence by a hinge; an engagement part 40 having a screw hole provided on an upper end of the fence on an opposite hinge side inside the upper lid; the fixing screw 6 for fixing the upper lid by screwing it to the screw hole of the engagement part from an outer side of the upper lid when the upper lid is closed; and a fixing screw retaining device 50 turnably and advanceably/retreatably retaining the fixing screw to the upper lid and having an elastic member 53 for retreating the fixing screw in a draw-out direction when it is removed from the engagement part.
