To provide a scaffold device and a roof constructing method to allow efficient and safe work in a simple structure.
For a movable roof scaffold device, plural vertical main beams 2 are provided in parallel and plural lateral beams 3 perpendicular to the main beams 2 are provided in parallel. The main beams 2 and the lateral beams 3 are formed into a #-shaped frame. Jack supporting columns 5 expandable in a vertical direction are provided at certain points on the main beams 2 into one unit. The movable roof scaffold device 1 is provided with a handrail and a drop preventive installation 6 into one unit. A movable elevator 7 is arranged in the #-shaped frame. Additionally, the movable roof scaffold device 1 is moved in package and arranged in a roof construction area and, after the roof construction is completed, it is moved in package at the time and arranged in the next roof construction area to perform roof construction.
