Abstract:
To provide a movable support device for an overhead power line which transfers the overhead power line which is removed from an existing track, and timely moves the overhead power line to a proper position on a newly constructed track by an operation from a remote position which does not interfere with a track work.SOLUTION: A movable support device for an overhead power line comprises: a beam B which is horizontally constructed above a track switching work place so as to traverse tracks R1, R2 left and right in an extension direction thereof; a vertical telescopic boom 7 which is so supported on the beam as to be movable left and right in a horizontal direction and up and down in a vertical direction; and a movable support member 13 such as a bent arm 11. The movable support member 13 which suspends overhead power lines M, T, is moved in a horizontal direction and in a vertical direction by remote control from the ground by horizontally driving means such as a hydraulic cylinder 4 and vertically driving means such as a hydraulic cylinder 8, and locates and supports the overhead power lines M, T at a proper position on the newly constructed track R2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
