Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely control the current position of a driven part even during acceleration and deceleration.
SOLUTION: When the movement of the driven body is controlled by using a scale 1 which has indexes provided at specific intervals, and a sensor 2 which is fitted to the driven body driven along the scale and detects the indexes, an acceleration/deceleration predicting means 4 predicts the time up to the detection of a next index according to the waveform outputted by the detecting means 3, a prediction interpolating means 5 adds an interpolation signal at specific time intervals within the predicted time, and a recording position signal generating means 6 generates a signal regarding the current position of the driven body.
