Abstract:

PURPOSE: To manufacture a spring piece by only one press process from a square flat plate and prevent generation of cracks in the central part of the sides by respectively forming a pair of folds in second and third parts having an edge.
CONSTITUTION: A spring piece made of a square flat plate material is constituted of a first part having a central part (a curved surface part 26), and second and third parts located on both sides of the first part and each having an edge part (flat surface thin films 27, 28). Folds which extend by a specified distance (a) from a first point 14 and a second point 17 in the first short side (an edge part) 1 in such a direction that a first peak 15 and a second peak 18 approach each other, and extend by a specified distance (a) from a third point 20 and a fourth point 23 in the second short side (an edge part) 3 in such a direction that a third peak 21 and a fourth peak 24 approach each other are formed. By forming four sharp edges having specified angle and length in a press tool, the spring piece is manufactured in one press process, and generation of cracks in long sides 10, 11 is prevented.
