In the moving type filtration apparatus, the inflow of the raw water is switchable between the inflow from an inflow part 20a-1 and the inflow from an inflow part 20a-2. Moreover, the catchment of treatment water is switchable between the catchment from a water collecting pipe 26-1 and the catchment from a water collecting pipe 26-2. When the circulation regeneration treatment of the filter medium 12 is performed, the inflow from the inflow part 20a-2 and the catchment from the water collecting pipe 26-2 are performed. When the circulation regeneration treatment of the filter medium 12 is not performed, the inflow from the inflow part 20a-1 and the catchment from the water collecting pipe 26-1 are performed.
