Abstract:
To provide a moving body guide device for a simple structure, capable of working a work piece with high accuracy and saving a space for a machine tool.
This moving body guide device comprises a tool rest 10 moving for the working of a work piece, a magnet 32 mounted on one of the tool rest 10 and a support 20, a coil 31 mounted on the other of the tool rest 10 and the support 20 in opposition to the magnet 32, and a body to be attracted constantly attracted by the magnet 32 within a moving range of the tool rest 10, and the magnet 32 has the attraction force producing the reverse angular moment for canceling the angular moment M for floating the tool rest from a guide member 10a, when the angular moment M acts on the tool rest 10.
