Abstract:
An operable toy having a particular shape including the shape of a dog or a human is provided. The operable toy includes a body portion (120) including a sound output unit and having four limbs (131 - 134) movably attached thereto, a head portion (110) that is supported by a neck portion movably attached to the body portion, where the head portion (110) allows a mobile communication device to be fitted thereinto and supports the mobile communication device at a face position of the operable toy, and a transmission member (114) that transmits, to the sound output unit and a control unit mounted in the body portion (120), a signal output from the mobile communication device supported by the head portion (110) in accordance with a user input, where the control unit controls the operation of the four limbs (131 - 134) attached to the body portion (120).
