To reduce the number of part items of a moving contact mechanism and a brazing process by forming an arc translocating part by bending both end surfaces of a reinforcing stand in a height lower than a height of moving contacts, and joining them together by a conductive plate by bringing the moving contacts into contact with this arc translocating part.
A reinforcing stand 1 is used as a moving contact plate of an electromagnetic contactor, and an arc translocating part 1A is formed by bending both ends of this reinforcing stand 1. At this time, a height of the arc translocating part 1A is set lower than a height of moving contacts 13a. These are respectively arranged so that side surface of the moving contacts 13a come into contact with this arc translocating part 1A, and a conductive plate 32 is arranged between the moving contacts 13a, and the conductive plate 232 and the moving contacts 13a are respectively joined to the reinforcing stand 1 by brazing, and a moving contact mechanism is manufactured. Therefore, the conductive plate 32 and the moving contacts 13a are placed on the reinforcing stand 1, and the moving contact mechanism can be manufactured by one time brazing, so that cost can be reduced.
