Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily move furniture by employing such constitution that a mobile grounding body is protruded by ascending the bottom of the furniture and the protrusive state of the mobile grounding body can be maintained even when the bottom of the furniture is descended in such a state.
CONSTITUTION: A leg is separated from a floor by pulling up the back of a chair. The mobile grounding body 16 is retreated in a cylinder 3 by being pushed up to an ascending position against the pressing force of the spring 13 of an elevator 6 by gravity of a chair. The elevator 6 is descended from a state in which a locking tool 7 is brought into contact with one side plane of the elevator 6 with a posture facing in the up-and-down direction to a position where the locking tool 7 is engaged with a stopper piece 11, and also, the locking tool 7 takes an oblique posture by engaging the engaging protrusive part 7a of the locking tool 7 with the operating projection 12 of the stopper piece 11. At this time, the mobile grounding body 16 is protruding widely. Thence, when the back of the chair is descended, the locking tool 7 takes the oblique posture, and a ball 15 attached on the mobile grounding body 16 can be rolled on the floor.
