The moving device 1 travels in a conduit while supporting the inner wall of the conduit in a bracing manner by a pair of guide wheels and a driving wheel, comprises a main frame 11 provided with a driving wheel 14 for traveling on the inner wall surface of the conduit and extending longitudinally in the axial direction of the conduit, a pair of guide levers 12 with their base ends being provided on the main frame in an oscillating manner, extending longitudinally in the axial direction with the driving wheel as the center, and having guide wheels 15 rolling on the wall surface substantially opposite to the wall surface with the driving wheel being rolled on their fore ends, and an elastic member 16 for urging the guide wheels of the guide levers in a pressing manner against the wall surface.
