PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving distance estimation apparatus capable of estimating a moving distance with higher accuracy.SOLUTION: A moving distance estimation apparatus comprises: an estimated velocity determination unit 128 sequentially estimating an estimated velocity Vof a moving body on the basis of an acceleration integrated value and a velocity initial value V; a moving distance calculation unit 141 sequentially calculating an estimated moving distance Lof the moving body on the basis of the estimated velocity Vand time; a previous velocity correction unit 142 determining a corrected previous velocity Vobtained by correcting a prior-to-correction previous estimated velocity Vthat is the estimated velocity Vsequentially estimated since an initial set value determination unit 126 previously determines the velocity initial value Vuntil the initial set value determination unit 126 currently determines the velocity initial value Vso as to be continuous to the current velocity initial value V; and a moving distance correction unit 143 recalculating the estimated moving distance since the initial set value determination unit 126 previously determines the velocity initial value Vuntil the initial set value determination unit 126 currently determines the velocity initial value Von the basis of the corrected previous velocity Vand the time if the corrected previous velocity Vis determined.
