Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy association between recording on a built-in recording medium and recording on an external recording device.SOLUTION: A camera signal processing unit 103 sequentially stores an image data imaged by an imaging device 102 into a DRAM 111. A compression/decompression unit 104 compresses the image data in the DRAM 111 into a moving image. A file name generation unit 120 generates the file name of the moving image to be recorded on the recording medium 119. The file name includes a clip number. A recording/reproducing unit 118 records the compressed image data by a compression coding unit 104 on the recording medium 119 with the generated file name. An output unit 105 superposes identification information, which includes the clip number, with the image data of the DRAM 111, to supply to an external recording device 150 with a predetermined video signal format. Recording operation by the recording/reproducing unit 118 and output operation by an output unit 105 are executed in synchronization according to a count value output from a counter circuit 115.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
