To provide a moving lifter for loading cargoes on the deck of a truck or the like, allowing a carrier to easily ride on and out of the deck by lowering a loading space to such an extent that no large gap is left between a floor surface and itself.
A base 2 of the lifter is formed in a U-shape and has four supporting columns 3, 3 vertically rising at both corners and at both ends and sliding rods 4, 4 slidably fitted into the supporting columns. Screw shafts 6, 6 journaled to the base 2 are provided at center axial portions of the sliding rods 4, 4 and nuts mounted at the lower ends of the sliding rods 4, 4 are threaded to the screw shafts 6, 6. The loading space 1 is mounted at the lower ends of the sliding rods 4, 4 via supporting brackets 5, 5. The loading space 1 can be lifted up and down by using a motor 8 for rotating the screw shafts 6, 6 in linkage.
