PURPOSE: To obtain a large magnetic flux variation and a very flat characteristic, by using a fixed magnet jointly, to make its constitution unique, and using an air core coil.

CONSTITUTION: A moving magnet 3 is fixed to the base end of the cantilever 2 having a reproducing stylus 1 in its tip. The magnet 3 is magnetized in the axial direction of the lever 2, and the back surface side is supported so as to be rocked freely. At a small interval on the side surface of the magnet 3, the fixed magnets 4, 4'are fixed to the cartridge so that they are located in the right and left vibrating directions of 45-45 stereo, seeing from the vibration supporting point of the vibration system. Coils 5, 5' for detecting a signal are installed to the side opposed to the magnet 3 of the magnets 4, 4' so that axes coincide with the vibrating direction of the vibration system. In this way, a large magnetic flux variation is obtained, furthermore the cartridge is even a moving-magnet type, the characteristic of very flat as an air core moving coil type is obtained.
