The moving picture processor includes: a moving picture data input means for receiving moving picture data; an important scene data input/generating means for receiving or generating important scene data in which an important scene of the moving picture data is described; a default reproduction parameter determining means for determining a default reproduction parameter on the basis of the important scene data received or generated by the important scene data input/generating means; a reproduction parameter input means for receiving a parameter for determining a reproduction scene; and a control section that preferentially uses the reproduction parameter entered by the reproduction parameter input means on the basis of the reproduction parameter determined by the default reproduction parameter determining means to perform control so that a reproduction scene of the moving picture data is reproduced when the reproduction parameter input means enters the reproduction parameter.
