Title:
MOVING SOUND DETECTOR FOR PARTICLE WITHIN MOVING LAYER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57175223
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize the checking for the behavior within a moving layer and to facilitate the analysis of the behavior within the moving layer with each recording, by connecting a microphone to the outer edge part of a sound guide tube provided into the furnace wall via a soundproof mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: A moving sound of particle within a moving layer 13 formed within a furnace propagates within a sound guide tube 3 and is led into an echo room 6 to be detected via a high-sensitivity microphone 7. The noise of the moving sound is eliminated through amplifiers 9 and 8 plus a filter 10, and the moving sound is monitored in the form of the sound and recording via a speaker 11 and a recorder 12. This monitoring is carried out at plural points of measurement with the prescribed spaces secured in the upper and lower directions of a furnace wall 2. As a result, the behaviors of the hanging of a shelf, the slip, etc. can be instanteneously checked by comparing the moving states of particles within the moving layer at each point of measurement. A heat-resistant sound guide tube 3 is buried into the wall 2, and the microphone 7 is connected to the outer edge part of the tube 3 via soundproof mechanisms 4W6.
