Abstract:
PURPOSE:To precisely detect the moving speed with a simple structure by generating two different output currents in response to the light reception position of the reflected light from an object, and calculating the moving speed of the body to be photographed based on them. CONSTITUTION:A light position detecting element (PSD) 12d generates two signal currents I1, I2 in response to the incident position of the reflected signal light collected by a light receiving lens 12c. An integrating circuit 14 switches the integrating action of the current signals I1, I2 calculated by an arithmetic circuit 18 in time division to output the speed information. The speed information depends on the reflection coefficient of a body to be photographed 10, thus the speed information must be corrected based on the result that the signal currents I1, I2 are ranging-calculated by a ranging circuit 15. A CPU 11 obtains the reflection coefficient of the body 10 based on the integrated output of the integrating circuit 14 and the ranging result of a ranging circuit 15, and the moving speed of the body 10 in the optical axis direction based on the reflection coefficient and the integrated output of the integrating circuit 14.
