Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat which prevents bedsores by eliminating pressure on the body of a patient and which keeps the body odor of the patient from diffusing around it. SOLUTION: This moving support point type bedsore-prevention mat has a sheet 1 made of a gas- or liquid-impermeable material and partitioned inside into small chambers 2, and pipes are connected to the individual small chambers 2 and gas or liquid filling and removal are controlled for the individual small chambers 2, so that the part of a patient's body compressed from the bed is relieved of compression.
