The mower is provided with a shielding plate 8 for cutting off the entry of the cut grass between a rotating blade 2 and a shaft body 1 therebetween and preventing the cut grass from twining around the rotating blade 2 and the shaft body 1 in the mower designed to cut the grass with the rotating blade 2 provided at the tip of the shaft body 1.
