Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mowing scissors for which the storage area during storage can be reduced while suppressing a decrease in cutting force.SOLUTION: Mowing scissors 1 comprise: a pair of handles 2a, 2b that can open and close around a central crossover part 4; a connecting tool 5 provided at the end of each pair of handles 2a, 2b; a pair of blades 3a, 3b provided with a cutting part at the ends thereof that can open and close around a central support shaft 3c; and a shaft member 35 swingably attached in the plane in which the pair of blades 3a, 3b opens and closes at the rear end of each pair of blades 3a, 3b, and that extends further toward the rear side of the rear end of each pair of blades 3a, 3b. The connecting tool 5 pivotally supports the shaft member 35 on the rear end of the pair of blades 3a, 3b, and when the pair of handles 2a, 2b opens and closes, relatively pivots the shaft member 35 to hold the orientation of the pair of blades 3a, 3b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
