Abstract:
To improve braking force with torque-up, according to a combination of MR fluid, a rotor and a stator.SOLUTION: An MR fluid brake has a winding (51) on an annular bottom surface (65) of an annular stator (61) provided on a stationary body (3), and an outer rotor disk (64) and an intermediate stator (70) are installed in an annular recess part (62) in a multi-plate state via MR fluid (80). Consequently, the intermediate stator (70) can have a higher magnetic flux density than before, and a torque larger than that of the conventional configuration can be obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
