Abstract:
PURPOSE: To precisely obtain a signal maximum position even in a phase encoding direction by prescanning.
CONSTITUTION: Before main scanning, a CPU 5 and a sequencer 6 deliver instructions to an inclined magnetic filed power source 7 and a modulator 9 so as to control the waveform of a gradient magnetic field pulse from a gradient magnetic field coil 2 and the waveform of an exciting pulse applied to a body to be examined from a high frequency coil 3 so as to carry out prescanning for collecting data as to a plurality of lines in the vicinity of the center of a raw data space.
