Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an estimation method and a biometric measurement device by which an MRI index of a part to be measured can be known, the method and the device being simpler than MRI.SOLUTION: In this estimation method, an MRI index (ADC, FA, etc.) is estimated based on a scattering coefficient μ' of a part B to be measured obtained by a near infrared spectroscopic measurement method based on a result of detection of near infrared light that is made incident to the part B to be measured and propagates inside the part B to be measured, or parameters having correlation with the scattering coefficient μ'.
