Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a space for treatment of muddy water and get uniform mixing of muddy water and a flocculant so as to surely separate water and mud.
SOLUTION: A supply pipe 15 supplying muddy water is connected to the upper part of a tubular shaped reaction tank 4 of rectangular section through a flow meter 16, and a plurality of turbulent flow generating bars 11 are zigzag arranged on the inclined upper part of the reaction tank 4. A plurality of baffle plates 12 having a fixed space against the bottom face of the reaction tank 4 are arranged in parallel on the lower inclined side of the turbulent flow generating bars 11, and a charge pipe 17 charging a flocculant according to the supply quantity of muddy water is connected to the reaction tank 4. Hereby a large storage reservoir is unnecessary to be formed, and a wide installation space is unnecessary. Further there is no possibility causing an environmental problem, and much cost and time become unnecessary. In addition, the muddy water and the flocculant are surely uniformly mixed during flowing down, continuously reacted, mud is downward and water is thereon separated so as to facilitate drainage, and the treatment time is also shortened.
