Abstract:
To provide a muffle structure for a cylindrical furnace (including a vertical and a horizontal cylindrical furnace) having excellent durability and a small heat capacity, dispensing with a large scale manufacturing facility, and greatly reduced in operation cost.SOLUTION: A muffle structure 10 for a cylindrical furnace comprises multiple plate members 11 made of a carbon/carbon composite material and multiple connection members 12 made of the carbon/carbon composite material, and is composed of a polygonal columnar body formed by connecting the multiple plate members 11 via the multiple connection members 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1(a)-(c)
