Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler device to reduce size and high-precisely switch a mode in a desired engine running area.
SOLUTION: A muffler body 2 is partitioned into first, second, and third chambers 12, 13, and 14 by partition walls 10 and 11 and provided with inlet and outlet pipes 15 and 17. The inlet pipe 15 has a communication hole 16 communicated with the second chamber 13. A first communication pipe 18 intercommunicates the first and second chambers 12 and 13. A second communication pipe 19 is communicated with the first and third chambers 12 and 14. The interior of an actuator 3 is divided into first and second spaces 35 and 36 by a diaphragm 32 and the actuator is operated by a switch valve 43 and piping 41, 42, and 44. An on-off valve 4 is connected to the diaphragm 32 through a shaft part 37. A control computing computing device 48 performs control of the switch valve 43.
