PURPOSE: To raise sealing and refrigerating performance by inserting a positioning coupler into the through holes of cylinder head and the cover plate of muffler and then by joining them with a heat-insulating adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: The positioning coupler 15 is inserted into the through holes of the cylinder head 10 and the cover plate 12 of the muffler 13, and then the cylinder head 10, the cover plate 12 of the muffler 13, and the positioning coupler 15 are jointed together with the heat-insulating adhesive 14. Thus, the bonding area between the cylinder head 10 and the muffler 13 is greatly increased and therefore the sealing of the jointed portion is raised, and also the heat transfer between the cylinder head 10 and the muffler 13 is prevented by the heat-insulating adhesive and therefore the refrigerating performance is raised.
