Abstract:
To provide a muffling cabinet which has a simple structure, is a low cost, can easily change respective directions of the openings depending on the installing condition, and can be applied to existing cabinets.
An adapter 8 is attached to the outside of an intake port 4 and an exhaust port 5 formed on a cabinet body 1. Flexible sound absorbing ducts 12, 13 are respectively attached to the intake side and the exhaust side. Ventilating fans 6, 7 intake and exhaust the air through these sound absorbing ducts 12, 13. The sound absorbing ducts 12, 13 are preferably of a bellows structure, and the respective directions of their opening ends 14, 15 can be freely changed depending on the installation place.
