PURPOSE: To prevent misoperation by the operator, by providing the identification switch of cartridge containing a plurality of page mats for the cartridge, page selection unit control circuit, and page location display means.
CONSTITUTION: When the cartridge 2 is mounted on the unit 1, the cartridge switch 10 is operated and the signal from the NAND circuit 11 is fed to the page selection unit control circuit 16 and the AND circuit 14. Next, the code corresponding to the switch is fed to the decoder 20 and the circuit 16 from the encoder 18 with the depression of the page selection switch 17. The decoder 20 interpretes the code, allowing to illuminate the lamp of the illumination section 5, the circuit 16 directs the direction of revolution of the motor with the motor drive circuit 23, and the drive motor 24 of the page selection set is turned. The sensor 25 detects the revolution of motor and it is fed to the circuit 16. The circuit 16 detects the motor stopped when the page mat is drawn out to a given position, allowing to the keying of the input key. The lamp drive 19 is driven and the lamp 5 corresponding to the switch 17 is illuminated.
