Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce scanning distortion irrelevantly to lens design. CONSTITUTION:This multi-beam recorder is provided with a positioning device 11 which finely moves an array type light source 12, a rotational position detector 25 which detects a scanning position, a beam detector 19 which detects the timing of the start of light beam scanning, and a positioning control circuit 23 which receives the scanning start timing signal TS from the beam detector 19 and controls the positioning device 11 according to a previously inputted pattern in synchronism with the deflection position detection signal TR of the rotational position detector 25.
