Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving elevator having high operation efficiency and capable of removing the useless movement or stop of a car.SOLUTION: The multi-car elevator provided with a plurality of cars in a hoistway is provided with a plurality of circulation driving means through which driving force transmission means is circulated and reciprocated in the hoistway, the plurality of circulation driving means provided in the hoisting and lowering direction, and characterized in that the driving transmission means is provided with a plurality of engaged parts, each of the cars is provided with a plurality of connection means, and the connection means is provided with engaging means capable of engaging the engaged parts, guiding means for guiding the engaging means so as to move linearly in the direction of the driving force transmission means, and pressing means for pressing the engaging means in the direction of the driving force transmission means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
