Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize accurate spatial temperature control in which a multi-channel diffusion fiber applicator comprises no mechanical movable part and output from a plurality of laser devices is independently controlled.SOLUTION: There is provided a multi-channel laser therapeutic device, in which an MRI device and a plurality of laser oscillators are combined; a multi-channel diffusion fiber applicator into which a plurality of quartz optical fibers usable under an MRI magnet field (strong magnetic field) are installed is inserted into a target living tissue under an MRI guide or under a medical navigation; one laser device is connected to each of the optical fibers; a temperature change in the target living tissue due to laser irradiation is monitored by an MRI temperature measuring method, a laser output is controlled to heat/maintain temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
