Abstract:
To provide a multi-core fiber, an optical fiber cable, and an optical fiber connector that are capable of suppressing variations in coupling efficiency even if a deviation is caused in an axis circumferential direction of a multi-core fiber in connection of the multi-core fiber.SOLUTION: A multi-core fiber 10 comprises: a cladding 21; at least one inner core 33 which is surrounded by the cladding 21 and disposed apart from a center C of the cladding 21, and through which first light is propagated; and at least one outer core 35 which is surrounded by the cladding 21 and disposed on a side closer to an outer peripheral side of the cladding 21 than the inner core 33 and through which second light is propagated. A width of the second light in a circumferential direction of the cladding 21 is larger than a width of the first light in the circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
