Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust device of a multi-cylinder engine constituted such that the differences of torques among cylinders are suppressed while making exhausting passages short as much as possible.SOLUTION: An exhaust device has a plurality of exhaust channels 52, 53, 54 whose upstream ends are connected to exhaust ports of a plurality of cylinders #1 to #4 and through which exhaust gas exhausted from the cylinders #1 to #4 pass, throttle parts 52x, 53x, 54x formed such that flowing channel area becomes smaller in the more downstream side in the downstream ends of the respective exhaust channel 52, 53, 54, and a collecting pipe to which the downstream ends of the respective exhaust channel 52, 53, 54 are connected while being bundled and in which the exhaust gas passing through the respective exhaust channel 52, 53, 54 gathers around, ones with different volumes are mixedly present in the plurality of exhaust channels 52, 53, 54, the flowing channel area of the throttle part 54x of the exhaust channel 54 with relatively large volume are set smaller than the flow channel area of throttle parts 52x, 53x of the exhaust channel 52, 53 having relatively small volumes.
