Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce hammering at the start by making the capacity of compressor suitable for car air-conditioner variable through utilization of suction pressure thereby enabling reduction of capacity not only when the rotary speed is high or the cooling load is low but also at starting.

CONSTITUTION: When applying on a swash plate type compressor 10, double end piston 40 contained in plural cylinder bores 36 is reciprocated through rotation of a swash plate 50 secured to the drive shaft 48. Consequently, fluid such as refrigerant gas sucked from a suction chamber 72 through a suction valve plate 16 into compression chamber 42 is pressurized and delivered through delivery valve plate 20, delivery chamber 80, etc. from a delivery tube 88. Here, a pressure control valve 120 for feeding the fluid pressure into the operating chamber 92 only when the suction pressure is within setting range is coupled to the operating chamber 92 of fluid pressure type actuator 90 provided for moving the rear delivery valve plate 100 between the operating position and non-operating position.
