Abstract:

To provide a multidirectional input device capable of reducing the overall height of product even if the travel (turning radius) of an operation member is increased, and in which product endurance is high and operational feeling of a depression switch is good.SOLUTION: A multidirectional input device includes a case, first and second interlock members, an operation member, first and second detectors, a lever fulcrum, a pusher, and a depression switch. The first interlock member has a bottomed guide groove elongating in a second direction, and the guide groove has an inner bottom surface of substantially convex spherical shape, and is held in the case movably in the first direction in circular arc shape, and depressively in a third direction. The second interlock member intersects the first interlock member, has a long hole elongating in the first direction, and is held in the case movably in arc shape in the second direction. The operation member is supported slidably on the inner bottom surface of the guide groove in the first interlock member, penetrates the long hole of the second interlock member from the inside of the guide groove and projects to the outside of the case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
