Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fuel flow passage from being blocked and black smoke from being generated and prevent the generation of reignition or the like by stopping only the supply of liquid fuel when combustion comes to a halt and then stopping the supply of a pressurized vapor after the elapse of a definite time.
SOLUTION: A control device 14 blocks the supply of liquid fuel and at the same time starts operation under the conditions of tg>ta where ta stands for limited time of a pressurized vapor blockade timer Ta while tg stands for limited time of vapor fuel shutdown timer and shuts down the supply of pressurized gas by the output of the timer Ta and the supply of gas fuel by the output of the timer Tg as well. After the liquid fuel has been consumed and burnt out substantially completely, the combustion of each gas fuel is halted, which makes it possible to dissolved such problems as follows: The fuel oil, such as heavy oil remains in a nozzle after combustion operation comes to a halt and degraded so that the nozzle hole may be clogged or liquid drop may reignite the fuel after the operation comes to a stop or black smoke may be generated.
