Abstract:

To execute calibration, register adjustment and glossiness control for a color image in a color image output terminal (IOT).

A method for determining a color value, a glossiness value and a register adjustment mark value in a full color electronic photo printing machine, comprises steps of illuminating a test pattern by means of a light source 102, detecting a signal reflected by the test pattern, filtering the detected signal by red, green and blue filters 108 and measuring a relative position of a color separation to form a signal representing the position by converting the filtered signal to color values (L*a*b*) with respect to a specific pigment.
