To provide a reading desk allowing a user to hold pages of a book by a page presser so that all the printed letters can be seen, regardless of the thickness of the book to turn pages with the minimum labor and to use the desk as fitness equipment when the desk is not used as the reading desk.

The reading desk is composed of a mounting board attaching means which can be turnably attached to side panels mounted parallel on both sides of a mounting board consisting of a support board and a support shelf; a page holding means for holding opened pages of a book mounted on the mounting board, which is movable in the vertical direction in the upper part on the surface of the holding board; and a step means for using the rear side of the holding board as a step board of a step.
