Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate interference between an electric cable and its peripheral components, damage to interfering components, rupture of the electric cable, or the like, and further reduce a storage space of the electric cable.SOLUTION: A robot arm mechanism according to one embodiment includes: a base part 101; a robot arm 102 mounted to the base part 101 and having multiple rotary joint parts J1-J4; an elongation/contraction cable 30 with elasticity for supplying at least either one of electric power and a signal to a tip portion of the robot arm 102; a cable guide 51 for guiding the elongation/contraction cable 30 from a cable fixation part 133a on a tip portion side to a cable fixation part 133b on a base part side; and a route extension part 40 interposed on a wiring route for extending the wiring route using the cable guide 51 from the cable fixation part 133a on the tip portion side to the cable fixation part 133b on the base part side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
