Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layered coating film formation method capable of forming a multi-layered coating film which secures water adhesion resistance and is excellent in metallic gloss.SOLUTION: A multi-layered coating film formation method includes coating a brilliant pigment-containing aqueous base coat coating material, which contains water dispersible acrylic polymer particles (A), a cellulose derivative (B), a curing agent (C) and a brilliant pigment (D) formed in a metal piece by pulverizing a vapor deposition metal film, onto an object to be coated to form a base coat coating film; coating a clear coat coating material, which contains an acrylic resin (E) that is a copolymer of N-substituted (meth) acrylamide (i), a hydroxyl group-containing polymerizable unsaturated monomer (ii), a carboxyl group-containing polymerizable unsaturated monomer (iii) and other polymerizable unsaturated monomers (iv) other than (i) to (iii), a hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin (F) other than the resin (E) and a curing agent (G), onto the base coat coating film to form a clear coat coating film.SELECTED DRAWING: None
