PURPOSE: To obtain woven fabric forming honeycomb voids by stretching to become a fiber base for reinforcing fiber reinforced composite materials, by making connected parts and nonconnected parts in a specific state between layers of woven fabric of four layer structure.

CONSTITUTION: In woven fabric of four layer structure, a multi-layer woven fabric having a repeating unit comprising part A wherein inner two layers are connected, part B wherein the four layers are not connected at all, part C wherein the inner layers are connected to the outer layers and the part B, 40W100wt.% based on fibers constituting the fabric of organic fibers which is not melted or has ≥300°C melting point and ≥250g/d initial modulus is utilized and 0W60wt.% inorganic fiber or metallic fibers are used.
