Abstract:
To obtain a hollow container with a brilliant color and glossy feeling by coating surfaces of glass flakes contained in a translucent ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer layer with a metal or a metal oxide to enhance effect of flaky pieces .
The outermost layer is the ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer layer containing flaky pieces formed by coating the surfaces of the glass flakes with the metal or the metal oxide, and the next layer adjacent to the outermost layer is a translucent olefin-layer containing a modified polyolefin of 0.01 to 60 wt.% and a coloring pigment.
