Title:
MULTI-NUT RUNNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3563208
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform low torque temporary fastening and high torque increasing fastening by freely switching a multinut runner to low torque to simultaneously drive plural spindles in rotation and high torque to drive a single spindle in rotation.
SOLUTION: When the whole spindles 6a, 6b and 6c are simultaneously driven in rotation by a single AC servomotor 15, a hub nut is temporarily fastened to a hub bolt in low torque. Next, a cylinder 11 is advanced, and the AC servomotor 15 is advanced and moved through a sleeve 12, and a transmission gear 9a on the spindle 6a to which a rotary output shaft 16 is joined is separated from a first central gear 4. Therefore, the AC servomotor 15 makes output in high torque, and increasingly fastens the hub nut of only a socket 7a of the spindle 6a.
