Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple optical axis photoelectric sensor capable of successfully fixing a translucent plate to a case body via an elastic member in a sealed state and reducing regions in which an object cannot be detected in a longitudinal direction of a housing.SOLUTION: A light projector 10 and a light receiver 20 comprise a case body 3, a translucent plate 4 blocking an opening 39 on a front surface of the case body 3, and a pair of caps 5 blocking openings 38 on both end surfaces of the case body 3. The case body 3 comprises a pair of first support parts 35 supporting both side edges of the translucent plate 4. Each cap 5 comprises a second support part 53 supporting both end portions of the translucent plate 4. The translucent plate 4 is supported by both first support parts 35 and both second support parts 53 via an elastic member 8. The cap 5 and the translucent plate 4 are provided with first engaging parts which engage with each other to regulate inward displacement in a longitudinal direction of both end portions of the translucent plate 4 supported by the second support part 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
